Our team is led by the Manager, Suzy Izatt. Starting in 2008 as a Care Assistant, Suzy completed her Nurse training in 2012 and progressed into a Staff Nurse position. She was then promoted to Charge Nurse in 2022, and took over Clinical Manager of the care home in 2023. Suzy is supported by the Non-Clinical Manager, Claire Hume.
Our Charge Nurse, Eileen Muirhead, leads a team of Registered Nurses, Senior Care Assistants, and Healthcare Assistants. All Nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and provide 24 hour Nursing care within the care home.
All of our Healthcare Assistants are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (the regulator for the social service workforce in Scotland). All staff employed within the Care Home are members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
